Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband NRW
The Paritätische is a welfare association of independent organisations, institutions and groups of the welfare sector which carry out social welfare work, including self-help activities. Governed by the idea of parity - i.e. the quality of all the organisations with respect to their reputation and their opportunities - and governed by the principles of tolerance, openness and versatility the Paritätische pro-motes social commitment towards others as well as to its own social interests. In addition to its commitment to the necessary expansion of professional social services, the Paritätische considers it as its special task to encourage voluntary social commitment and to offer training for this.
